With Covid sweeping the nation, the travel industry has sadly been one of the most affected. However, with positive news coming out daily it seems like normality is just on the horizon. With the rising trend of 'staycations' and 'Micro-Cations' UK domestic travel about to boom.
A ‘Micro-Cation’ is classed as a leisure trip that is less than five nights long, with millennials opting to take shorter breaks but more of them. This is to do with health and well-being becoming an increasing trend amongst holiday goers, with over 12 million people now actively looking for a stress-free, disconnected holiday each year.
That being said, Covid-19 has put huge travel limitations across the globe, and now more than ever is a key time to for the UK domestic travel to make a show stopping appearance once lockdown is lifted. Here are five top hot spots to watch out for:

For those wanting to go back to nature, Yorkshire offers an abundance of campsites across the county, not forgetting the ‘glamping’ options, such as the camping pods at Little Wold Away.
